  • Keep active during the day, if you just sit and do nothing you will tend to start thinking negative thoughts, go for a run or take the dog for a walk if these thoughts manifest themselves.
  • Learn relaxation or meditation techniques, these can be extremely effective in lowering your negative thought processes.   • Try and suppress the negative thoughts, if you can identify the triggers and know when you are thinking irrationally you have a bigger chance of forcing your mind to change the way it works in those situations.
